1970s MINIATURE BEDROOM
'ABBEY ROAD"
'ABBEY ROAD"
The design for this dollhouse miniature bedroom is based on the 1970's with its bright swirls and funky colours. Busy patterns pair comfortably with otherwise minimalist lines. The room is a more contemporary version of the flower power era, and I have used mainly vintage materials combined with just a few more recent fabrics for its design.
The bedding is made with cotton, linen and velvet; the pelmets with cut velvet and satin fringe. A small crocheted multi-coloured pouffe and two small bedside rugs add yet more contrasting details to the overall design. The large wall panel behind the bed has a top pocket and wooden dowel, allowing it to be suspended from tiny hooks or screws. Alternatively you can simply fix it to the wall by adding some double sided tape. Please note the panel may feature a different but similar pattern than showing here. I have used a large sisal rug in the images, but this bedroom set looks equally good on a bare wooden floor or you can add your own funky retro rug!
Showroom dimensions are 30cm height x 60cm width, but I can create this set to fit your room size.
The items used in this miniature bedroom can also be purchased separately.
