VENETIAN MINIATURE BEDROOM

Here, a mixture of gold themed textiles and sparkling gold lighting create this opulent Venetian Palazzo style miniature bedroom set. Super classy with a definite wow factor!
Like every other miniature bedroom in my collection, this one developed as I worked on it. The design process is always a gradual one, where I start with a vaguely outlined idea which then slowly grows towards an at times surprising end result.  
The bed linen for this Venetian bedroom design consists of a fine vintage ivory brocade bed cover featuring an embroidered centre panel with silver & gold beading, a bolster and single large vintage silk cushion. The bed canopy's wooden surround, which simply screws on to the wall, is draped with sheer gold taffeta edged with finest antique lace and crowned with two bronze amulets. I have created semi translucent pelmets for the windows using vintage indian silk sari embellished with a subtle black and gold beaded fringe.  

The room is lit by a two-tiered venetian gold chandelier complemented by two smaller single tier venetian pendant lights. I have positioned these along the side walls but of course they can be suspended wherever you wish. 

My showroom dimensions are 30cm height x 60cm width, but I can create this set to fit your room size. All  items used in this dollhouse bedroom can also be purchased separately.
